Packers vs. Cowboys Caps a Wild NFL Day

The Ice Bowl . The Thanksgiving game in 1994 where Sterling Sharpe had 4 touchdowns. Hadl to McGeorge in 1975 to beat the undefeated Cowboys. The playoff matchups in the 1990’s. Where will this beauty rank? I don’t know, but it will probably be in the top thirty best Packers-Cowboys games of all-time. The Cowboys are in primetime (again) this time against the Packers. If you are tired of the storylines about Dallas or have little interest in watching this team, take heart. You won’t have to watch them in primetime again until Christmas Day, when the Cowboys-Cardinals game promote quality family time with the television off. Well, unless NBC inevitably chooses Dallas for one of the flex games (the December 12th game against Philadelphia is currently scheduled but one would think the network would choose someone else). Green Bay has plenty to play for, as their win in New York last week moved them to 5-3. A win tonight keeps them in first. With Donald Driver out, look for James Jones and Jordy Nelson to join Greg Jennings and enjoy the soft coverage that the Dallas secondary provides. Jon Kitna, prepare to meet Vigo the Carpathian .
